What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Data Engineer to support mission data development, EW system improvements, and laboratory verification for combat aircraft defensive systems (including radar warning receivers, ECM jammers, and ECM dispenser systems). This is a hands-on technical role that requires working across engineering, test, and program offices to produce and validate mission data for fielded platforms.

• Support development, verification, validation, and rapid reprogramming of EW mission data (MD) in response to evolving threat systems
• Develop and update threat databases using EWIR and other mission-data tools
• Generate optimized EW MD software files and use software simulations and lab facilities to verify MD prior to fielding
• Plan and conduct Performance Characterization Assessments and related analysis
• Design and use computer-based tools to flag and extract threat-system parametrics for analysis
• Prepare technical reports, end-of-test briefings and present results to review boards and higher HQ
• Support technical reviews and program milestones (TPWGs, PMRs, PDRs, CDRs) and attend program meetings to provide technical recommendations
• Develop measures (COIs, MOEs, MOPs), mission scenarios, instrumentation and data-management plans
• Coordinate MDO resources, develop project directives and operational requirement documents, and support MDO configuration design
• Conduct briefings and debriefings for stakeholders and program leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronic warfare, mission data, signal analysis, or related engineering roles
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance within 6–9 months of hire
• Strong technical writing and verbal communications skills

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• Experience with EW mission data tools (EWIR or similar)
• Hands-on experience with EW laboratory environments, simulations, and instrumentation
• Background with radar warning receivers, ECM jammers, or dispenser systems
• Experience performing performance characterization, threat modeling, or rapid reprogramming of MD
• Familiarity with program review processes (PDR/CDR) and working groups (TPWGs, PMRs)

Compensation & Location

• Estimated salary (as listed by source): $159,045 per year (estimated)
• Location: Niceville, FL — work on-site as required by program and security needs
• This role requires U.S. Citizenship and suitability for a Secret clearance
