What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Data Engineer to support EW system improvements and development of mission data for combat air forces. You will apply analytical techniques, develop and validate mission data (MD), coordinate with stakeholders, and present technical findings.

  • Support development and follow-on enhancements to EW and defensive systems (radar warning receivers, ECM jammers, ECM dispensers).
  • Develop, update, and maintain threat databases using EWIR tools.
  • Generate and optimize EW mission data software files and perform rapid reprogramming in response to evolving threats.
  • Design and run software simulations and EW lab verification activities to validate MD prior to fielding.
  • Plan, conduct, and report performance characterization assessments and mission analyses.
  • Prepare final reports, end-of-test briefings, and technical status presentations for program reviews and higher HQ.
  • Coordinate scheduling of mission data operations (MDO) resources and support technical working groups, PMRs, PDRs, CDRs, and other reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and use computer-based tools to flag and extract threat system parametrics for analysis.
  • Develop MD instrumentation, data management, and analysis plans.
  • Recommend courses of interest (COIs), program objectives, and measurements (MOEs/MOPs).
  • Support project management documentation, operational requirement documents, and program schedules.
  • Conduct briefings and debriefings; provide technical recommendations and decisions on process matters.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer sensitivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EW mission data development, threat analysis, or related work.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6–9 months of hire.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with EWIR tools, mission data (MD) generation, software simulations, and EW laboratory verification preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a programmatic environment with frequent technical reviews and stakeholder coordination.

  • Location: Niceville, FL (on-site or as required by program).
  • Estimated compensation: $148,273 per year (estimated).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
