What You’ll Do

Confidential client is hiring an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to support development, verification, and fielding of mission data and countermeasure improvements for combat aircraft. Typical responsibilities include:

• Prepare final reports, end-of-test briefings, and technical status briefings for program offices and review boards.
• Support technical working groups, program reviews (PDR/CDR), and program meetings; provide technical recommendations and status updates.
• Develop proposed designs, scenarios, program schedules, and program documentation (PM directives, requirement docs).
• Develop and maintain threat databases using EWIR and related tools; flag and extract threat system parametrics for analysis.
• Generate, optimize, verify and validate EW mission data (MD) software files via simulations and laboratory facilities before fielding.
• Plan, conduct, and report performance characterization assessments and rapid reprogramming of fielded MD in response to changing threats.
• Define Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), instrumentation, and data-management/analysis plans.
• Coordinate resources and schedules with higher headquarters and participating organizations; conduct briefings and debriefings.
• Use and develop computer-based tools and software simulations to support analyses and MD verification.

Qualifications

Required

• U.S. Citizenship (required due to sensitive customer requirements).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with electronic warfare, mission data, or closely related systems.
• Able to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6–9 months of hire.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Experience with EWIR tools, mission data generation, software simulations, or EW laboratory environments (or equivalent domain experience).

Preferred

• Experience with radar-warning receivers, ECM jammers, expendable/dispensing systems, or aircraft defensive systems.
• Prior work producing mission data for combat aircraft or experience with rapid reprogramming workflows.
• Familiarity with developing COIs, MOEs, MOPs, and mission scenarios.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary: $150,880 per year (estimated).

• Work location: Niceville, FL.
• This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6–9 months of hire.
