What You’ll Do
Confidential client is seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to support their retail audit practice. In this role you will:
- Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures focused on retail-industry issues
- Audit complex areas and transactions; prepare financial statements and related reports
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial accounts and identify trends or anomalies
- Support client engagements by resolving issues and delivering clear recommendations
- Mentor and develop interns and junior team members to build the next generation of auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Eligible (or working toward eligibility) to sit for the CPA exam is preferred
- At least one year of relevant audit experience preferred
- Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews; tax exposure is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring practical solutions to client issues
- Team-oriented with a willingness to mentor junior staff and interns
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range for this role in California: $65,000 - $110,000 per year (salary placement within the range depends on geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge)
