Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Experienced Associate, Assurance to join their Southern Minnesota audit practice, based in Mankato, MN. This is a full-time, contract opportunity focused on external audit engagements across industry clients. The Minnesota posting range for this role is $53,700 to $93,000 per year.
What You’ll Do
As an Experienced Associate, Assurance you will:
- Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures focused on industry-specific issues.
- Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial accounts and identify trends and key risks.
- Support client relationships by evaluating issues and proposing practical solutions.
- Mentor and develop interns and staff to build a high-performing audit team.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Successful candidates typically have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150 credit hour requirement.
- At least one year of public accounting or professional services experience preferred.
- Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews; tax exposure is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clear recommendations.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow in a client-focused firm.
Compensation & Benefits
- Minnesota posting range: $53,700 — $93,000 per year.
