Confidential Client is seeking an organized, personable Event Planner to support member-facing conferences and related logistics in Memphis, TN. Key responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate association conferences, meetings, and member-facing events.
  • Arrange venues, lodging, transportation, and related reservations; maintain event schedules and logistics.
  • Serve as a primary contact for members and attendees — respond to questions and provide timely event support.
  • Prepare and organize event materials; track event details and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Handle incoming calls and general office inquiries with a welcoming, service-oriented approach.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, record management, and day-to-day coordination.
  • Create or schedule basic social media content related to events and member engagement.
  • Take on additional duties and greater ownership as training is completed.

You should have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (marketing, communications, hospitality, business, or related field) — not required.
  • Strong interest in event coordination, administrative support, or member services; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage multiple details at once (travel arrangements, reservations, scheduling).
  • Comfortable and professional when interacting with members and stakeholders.
