Role Overview
confidential client is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Event Partnerships Coordinator to support exhibits, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and supplier membership for major industry events and conferences. This is an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on event and partnership experience, work with senior executives, and support high-profile national events.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, and corporate partners.
- Coordinate and service exhibits, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and advertising opportunities.
- Assist with supplier membership communications, renewals, and database maintenance.
- Manage exhibitor and sponsor logistics for conferences and events, including onsite support.
- Track exhibitor, sponsorship, and partnership information in membership, CRM, and event-management systems.
- Maintain accurate records and help develop marketing and sponsorship materials (e.g., annual Marketing Prospectus).
- Lead exhibitor and sponsor registration processes and provide onsite registration support.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with corporate partners and senior-level executives.
- Respond to partner inquiries with timely, professional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event logistics and sponsorship deliverables meet deadlines.
- Support other event, sales, marketing, and membership initiatives as needed.
- Travel occasionally to support conferences and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years’ experience in events, sales, marketing, customer service, account coordination, or related fields; internships welcome.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with senior-level stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, proactive, and service-minded.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with event management, floor-plan, membership database, or CRM systems is a plus (examples: MapYourShow, ExpoCad, Fonteva, Salesforce).
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for conferences and events.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Location & Travel
This role is based in Trade, VA. Occasional travel to support conferences and events is required.
Compensation
- Estimated pay: $111,999 per year (estimated). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and local market factors.

- CRM and membership database experience (Fonteva, Salesforce).
- Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
