What You’ll Do
This office-based Estimator role supports the preconstruction team for commercial and multi-family projects in Denver, CO. You will report into senior estimating leadership and collaborate closely with project management.
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projects
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
- Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews, and pricing analysis under senior estimator guidance
- Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
- Review plans, specifications, and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage
- Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions
- Work in an office-based environment in Denver and coordinate with field and project teams as needed
Who You Are / Qualifications
We’re looking for an early-career construction professional who is eager to grow within estimating and preconstruction.
- 2+ years’ experience in construction estimating, project engineering, or a related role (internships welcome)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials, and terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with estimating/ takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, On‑Screen Takeoff) is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, office-based environment
Compensation & Benefits
Colorado pay transparency: the expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
