What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level ERP Business Professional to join the ERP implementation team supporting Invera Invex rollouts across manufacturing sites. This is a hands-on, implementation-focused role where you will gain exposure to multiple functional areas (Sales, Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics) and learn the full go-live lifecycle.
- Work alongside Business Analysts, module leads, and Global Process Owners on project-based implementations to drive new sites live.
- Assist with configuration testing, data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation of test results.
- Help prepare training materials and support end-user training delivery and post-training reinforcement during cutovers.
- Shadow process discovery, requirements gathering, and future-state design sessions.
- Provide on-site and off-hours coverage for scheduled go-live cutovers and the following hypercare period as needed.
- Contribute to implementation runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and internal documentation.
- Support handoff of newly-live sites to Operations, transferring site-specific configuration knowledge and open items.
- Take ownership of scoped implementation tasks as you demonstrate competency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ERP configuration, UAT, and data validation efforts.
- Assist with end-user training and hypercare support during cutovers.
- Document processes, create runbooks, and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Travel to manufacturing sites (~25%–35%) for implementations and cutovers.
- Work flexible hours (nights/weekends) during go-live and hypercare when required.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field — or equivalent work experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working with plant-floor users and corporate stakeholders.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
- Willingness and ability to travel 25%–35% to manufacturing sites.
- Availability for nights and weekends as needed during cutovers and hypercare.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct exposure to Invera Invex ERP (work, internship, or coursework).
- Familiarity with steel service centers, tube manufacturing, or metals processing.
- Working knowledge of ERP modules: Sales, Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics.
- Experience with other ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Infor, Plex).
- Basic SQL, Power BI, or experience using AI tools to support analysis.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira) and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Prior internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in IT, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or a business analyst function.
Growth Path
This role is the entry point to the ERP career ladder. High-performing associates typically progress to ERP Functional Analyst roles on the Implementation team and can advance through defined levels (Analyst → Senior Analyst → Team Lead) or move laterally into other technical or operational tracks over time.
