Confidential Client is hiring entry-level engineers into a 12–18 month Engineering Rotational Development Program (ERDP) — Product Development Track. This program provides hands-on rotations across multiple engineering teams so new graduates can build technical depth, practical experience, and professional networks. Most roles are based in Peoria, IL, with openings across the United States, including Tucson, AZ.
What You’ll Do
The ERDP places you on meaningful projects across several engineering specialties. Typical rotations and responsibilities may include:
- Product design: design components and systems; collaborate across concept-to-production teams.
- Simulation & performance analysis: run CFD/FEA, 3D modeling, and subsystem optimization.
- Test & validation (hands-on): troubleshoot prototypes and validate designs in lab/test environments.
- Controls development: implement control algorithms with Matlab/Simulink and test prior to release.
- Electronic components: contribute to PCB layout, digital/analog/power analysis, and supplier testing.
- Embedded software: develop C/C#/C++ embedded code and automation scripts (Python/Visual Basic).
- Software validation: verify features on HIL/SIL systems and report/debug anomalies.
- Data analytics: apply Python and ML tools for engineering data insights.
- Process engineering: analyze and optimize manufacturing and engineering processes.
Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
This program is targeted to entry-level engineers nearing graduation or recently graduated. Minimum requirements:
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Agricultural, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline (degree must be completed prior to start).
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0 (no rounding).
- 12 months or less of prior professional work experience (internships excluded).
- Willingness to relocate and travel as needed.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and learn quickly on the job.
Top candidates often have campus design/competition team experience, internship/co-op exposure, or project leadership roles.
Program details & logistics
- Program length: 12–18 months.
- Work schedule: Monday–Friday, in-person (on-site).
- Primary locations: Most positions based in Peoria, IL; additional limited locations throughout the U.S., including Tucson, AZ.
- Start dates (2027): February 1; June 7; July 12; August 2 (seats limited per start date).
- Visa sponsorship: NOT available for this position.
- Relocation: Available to qualified candidates.

Compensation & Benefits
Summary pay range (national): $81,370.00 - $133,810.00 per year. Actual pay will vary by location, experience, and other individualized factors.
