Role Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an Epic Experienced Associate to support design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic applications in a healthcare / business-application consulting environment. This is a full-time individual contributor role based in Pico Heights, CA (Los Angeles area). You will partner with operational stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and IT teams to gather requirements, improve workflows, and support system enhancements that drive user adoption and system reliability.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in needs assessments and gather business and clinical requirements.
  • Assist with design and configuration of Epic workflows to meet operational needs.
  • Develop and validate test scripts; perform unit, functional, and integrated testing.
  • Support migration of build to production environments following change-control best practices.
  • Assist with user access and security configuration under established governance.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and interface transaction errors; monitor and help triage interface error queues.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures in collaboration with clinicians and team members.
  • Partner with operational teams to improve workflow efficiency and support system enhancements.
  • Contribute to upgrades, build and maintenance activities, and small-to-medium project tasks.
  • Communicate status, risks, and recommendations clearly to project stakeholders.

Qualifications — Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in the U.S. healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical, revenue cycle, or operational healthcare workflows.
  • Strong communication skills: written, briefing, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Any Epic certification (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Epic application modules and configuration.
  • Understanding of technical product roadmaps and support requirements.
  • Experience writing test scripts and performing integrated testing.
  • Basic project management skills for cross-team coordination.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, audit requirements, and change-control processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 per year. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will comply with applicable employment laws.
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave — specifics determined by our client and applicable location.

Location & Work Authorization

  • Location: Pico Heights (Los Angeles), CA — onsite or hybrid as defined by the client.
