Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Environmental / Water Resources / Civil Engineer to join their Water Services group. This role provides hands-on experience supporting the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure under supervision. Ideal for early-career engineers who want to grow technical skills and participate across project phases from design to construction support.


What You’ll Do

  • Support design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer mains, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Conduct site assessments and water quality analyses; perform modeling and adjust design parameters as directed.
  • Produce technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Create maps, drawings, and presentations using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel.
  • Assist on fieldwork and construction management tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support client meetings and presentations.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Intermediate proficiency with computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) tools, including 3D/4D modeling workflows.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, EPA SWMM or similar hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles for water/wastewater systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally (up to ~10% travel).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related discipline — or equivalent directly related experience.
  • Approximately 1 year of related experience (entry-level candidates with relevant internships/co-ops are encouraged to apply).
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position in the United States.

Compensation & Additional Info

  • Pay range: USD $63,835 — $105,310 per year (good-faith estimate for this location; actual compensation depends on experience, role, and other factors).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Background checks and drug testing may be required after an offer is made.
