What You’ll Do
Confidential Client (Engineering) is seeking entry-level Structural Designers to join their team in Textile Finance, CA. In this role you’ll support project teams with fundamental structural engineering tasks while learning practical, office- and project-based skills under senior staff guidance.
- Perform basic structural modeling and calculations under supervision
- Produce and update CAD/Revit drawings, details, and construction documents
- Assist with load calculations, code checks and referencing standard design procedures
- Support project documentation, submittals and permit packages
- Coordinate with team members (engineers, drafters, architects, and consultants)
- Participate in design reviews, technical training, and regular team collaboration
- Attend occasional site visits and assist with field observations as directed
- Conduct research and gather technical information to support design decisions
Who You Are / Key Skills
- Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and structural behavior
- Coursework or hands-on training in concrete, steel, or wood design

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures
- Transcripts showing completed courses in Concrete, Steel, or Wood Design
- No full-time work experience required (suitable for recent graduates)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher (Bachelor’s)
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structures) is a plus
- Graduate coursework in Structural Design, Steel/Wood Design, Concrete, or Seismic topics
- Previous internship or co-op experience in structural/civil engineering
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred
Location & Schedule
- This position requires in-person attendance at the client’s office in Textile Finance, CA for the initial training period.
- After a satisfactory training period, a hybrid schedule (typically 2 days per week in the office) may be accommodated.
- Typical workweek: 40 hours, Monday–Friday. Core collaboration hours are generally 9:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range (California): $77,000–$87,000 per year (depending on education and experience). This range is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment at a desk or computer workstation.
- Frequent computer use for several hours per day is required.

- In-person presence is required during the training period in Textile Finance, CA.
