What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Wealth Manager to support client engagement, financial planning, and portfolio management. This role offers hands-on training, licensing support, and a structured path into wealth management.

  • Build and nurture client relationships through networking, meetings, and proactive outreach.
  • Assess client financial goals, timelines, and risk tolerance to develop personalized strategies.
  • Recommend investments, insurance, retirement planning, and other financial products tailored to client needs.
  • Assist with portfolio construction, monitoring, rebalancing, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain accurate client records and regular communication cadence.
  • Support compliance, regulatory, and licensing activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and relevant work experience.
  • Pursuing or able to obtain State Life & Health license, SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (FINRA licensing supported).
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; client-first mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong work ethic and desire to make a positive impact.
  • Ability to collaborate and learn from experienced teammates and leaders.
  • In-office presence required in Manhattan, NY. Able to commute or relocate as needed.

Training & Development

  • FINRA sponsorship provided for required licenses.
  • Preliminary Employment Period (PEP): comprehensive 120-day hands-on training program.
  • Access to a virtual learning environment and continuous development resources.
  • One-on-one mentorship and joint client work with local leadership and experienced advisors.
  • Leadership development programs and opportunities to pursue professional credentials (CFP®, ChFC, and internal certifications).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Sign-on payment eligibility: $250–$1,000 after signing the PEP agreement and successful completion of required company-sponsored licenses and registrations.
  • Stable pay during early transition: structured biweekly stable pay for up to the first 24 months based on a 40-hour workweek (stable pay example: $34,500/year).
  • Commission and bonus potential in addition to stable pay.
  • Benefits eligibility may include health, dental, and vision plans; 401(k); Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP); disability and life insurance; and transportation reimbursement programs. All benefits are subject to program terms and eligibility.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Worksite: In-office presence required — Manhattan, NY (this position is not remote).
