What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for an Entry‑Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join municipal water/wastewater project teams in Corpus Christi, TX. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to support planning, design, and construction‑phase activities for pipelines, distribution and collection systems, pump/lift stations, and treatment facilities.

  • Assist in planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation
  • Perform engineering calculations and support hydraulic analysis and modeling
  • Help prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Conduct field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations
  • Support permitting and regulatory compliance tasks
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, contractors, and stakeholders across disciplines
  • Assist with construction‑phase services such as submittal reviews and contractor coordination

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Approximately 0–1 years of engineering experience; internships or co‑ops are valued
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or hydraulic modeling software is preferred
  • EIT certification preferred, or ability to obtain within one year
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to perform fieldwork and site visits in the Corpus Christi area
  • Team player with a desire to learn and grow in municipal infrastructure engineering

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Experience or coursework in hydraulic modeling, water distribution, or wastewater collection systems
  • Hands‑on use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS or similar tools
  • Ability to support multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
