What You’ll Do

This is a full-time, in-person teaching role based in Ridgewood, NJ. You will plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons, manage a classroom, assess student progress, and work with families and colleagues to support student success. The role is open to entry-level and experienced teachers.

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to curriculum standards and learning objectives
• Use varied instructional strategies and educational technology to engage students
• Establish predictable classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment
• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and keep accurate student records
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with school staff and specialists
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Teaching certification and a master’s degree are NOT required for this role
• Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills
• Experience (or coursework) in student assessment and progress monitoring
• Comfort using educational technology to enhance instruction
• Effective verbal and written communication with families and colleagues
• Able to work full-time, on-site in Ridgewood, New Jersey

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
