Role overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level to experienced science teachers for the 2026–27 school year to teach in New York City (Bronx). You’ll deliver a rigorous K–12 curriculum, manage a classroom of 20+ scholars, and benefit from intensive training, coaching, and clear leadership pathways. This role is full-time and in-person.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction using varied strategies and classroom technology.
- Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars; maintain routines that support a productive learning environment.
- Assess student learning through assignments, tests, and observations; provide timely, actionable feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and guardians about academic and behavioral progress.
- Collaborate with grade teams, staff, and school leaders to support scholar success.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, coaching, and data-driven planning.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed before your first day of work (a background in education is not required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to student growth and equity in education.
- Ability to work in person in New York City.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (Confidential Client does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship).

Compensation
