Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Test & Evaluation Engineer to support test equipment reliability and readiness at a site in Heath, OH. This early-career engineering role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating electronic equipment and circuit cards, producing clear technical documentation, and supporting maintenance teams under senior engineer guidance. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
What You’ll Do
- Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot site test equipment and electronic components to identify faults and restore reliable operation
- Assist maintenance teams in failure analysis of circuit cards and electronic assemblies
- Analyze test data and equipment failures; develop and recommend corrective actions
- Support implementation of approved corrective actions in coordination with maintenance personnel and senior engineers
- Create and maintain clear technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance documentation
- Recommend spare parts and test equipment based on observed failures and operational needs
- Document findings, corrective actions, and follow-up results in accordance with configuration-control and quality processes
- Coordinate with engineering teams, maintenance staff, and site stakeholders to support test-equipment readiness and safety
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related discipline (or non‑U.S. equivalent)
- Hands-on ability to evaluate electronic components, circuit cards, and test equipment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prepare clear technical procedures and documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with maintenance personnel and engineering teams
- U.S. Citizenship required (position requires ability to obtain U.S. security clearance—interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical engineering knowledge or practical understanding of mechanical systems
- Experience with test equipment maintenance, repair, or diagnostics
- Familiarity with electronic test methods, diagnostic tools, and circuit-level analysis
- Experience developing technical procedures, maintenance documentation, or spare-parts recommendations
- Ability to take direction from senior engineers while exercising sound engineering judgment

- Employment type: FULL_TIME (1st shift)

Pay & Benefits
- Summary pay range: $71,400 - $96,600 per year (provided by the source). Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
