What You’ll Do

We are looking for an entry-level Technical Writer to create clear, user-focused technical documentation for our confidential client. You will work closely with engineers and subject-matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-follow user manuals, product specifications, and training materials.

• Research and understand technical products, systems, and processes to accurately document them
• Write, edit, and proofread user guides, installation instructions, API docs, and product specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA to gather information and validate accuracy
• Organize and maintain documentation repositories and version control
• Assist with development of training materials, quick-start guides, and presentations
• Help define content standards and improve documentation processes
• Stay current with best practices in technical writing and documentation tools

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and present them clearly for target audiences
• Comfortable working collaboratively across engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with technical writing tools (e.g., Markdown, Word, Confluence, basic CMS) is a plus
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and good time-management skills

Compensation & Location

• Employment type: FULL_TIME
• Location: Los Angeles, CA — this role is based in Los Angeles and will follow applicable California employment requirements
• Estimated pay: $76,009 per year (estimated)
• Note: Salary is provided per state pay-transparency expectations. Final offer will depend on experience and qualifications.
