Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Tax Staff to join their Accounting & Finance team in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity ideal for recent accounting graduates or early-career tax professionals who are CPA-eligible or working toward CPA eligibility. The role offers hands-on tax experience, exposure to client service across industries, and professional development in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
- Perform tax and review procedures and assist on tax engagements and related projects.
- Learn and apply the firm’s tax approach while supporting client deliverables.
- Understand clients’ businesses, industries, accounting systems, and internal controls.
- Assess risks and evaluate internal control structures.
- Review or assist in drafting financial statements and other client deliverables.
- Supervise and mentor interns as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or related field.
- CPA-eligible or actively working toward eligibility to sit for the applicable state CPA exam.
- Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of accounting and tax concepts.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn tax software and firm processes.
Preferred / Helpful Skills
- Coursework or internship experience in tax, audit, or accounting.
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation and tax compliance workflows.
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
