About the Role
As a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer for Confidential Client, you will guide clients through tax preparation, complete accurate returns, support e-filing, and provide client-facing customer service and IRS audit assistance. This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for people starting a career in tax preparation or looking for seasonal/flexible work.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
- Prepare complete and accurate federal and state tax returns (including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms)
- E-file returns and provide printed copies for client review
- Provide IRS audit support and answer client questions about returns
- Collect and process client payments and ensure timely deposits
- Support marketing and business generation to increase client retention and revenue
- Answer client calls routed via the national call center system
- Resolve client concerns or escalate to a supervisor when appropriate
- Work collaboratively to support office priorities and team goals
Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort with numbers/math
- Sales or marketing experience a plus
- Background in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or tax is preferred but not required
- PTIN certification: required (or must obtain prior to filing)
- Willingness to complete training provided by Confidential Client
Location & Work Authorization
