What You’ll Do

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients and collect required documentation.
• Prepare complete and accurate federal and state tax returns, including multiyear and multistate filings.
• E-file returns and provide printed copies for client review and signature.
• Provide IRS audit support and basic tax planning guidance.
• Process client payments and ensure timely deposits.
• Support business generation and client retention efforts by offering additional products/services.
• Answer client calls routed through a centralized call system.
• Resolve routine client issues or escalate to supervisors when appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the office team to meet operational priorities.

Required / Preferred Qualifications

• PTIN certification is required.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with numerical tasks.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales or marketing experience is a plus.
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, retail, or tax is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus, but not required.
