Position Summary
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join their Saint Louis, MO engineering team. This is an early-career role ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to 2 years of experience who want hands-on mentoring, exposure to building design projects, and the opportunity to grow technical skills using industry-standard tools.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in structural analysis and design of building components under senior engineer supervision.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical documentation, and support comprehensive project deliverables.
- Support design development and ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Create and modify structural drawings using Revit or similar BIM tools.
- Participate in site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
- Assist in preparing engineering reports and maintaining project records.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Contribute to quality control and documentation review processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (emphasis in structures).
- Coursework or experience in steel, concrete, wood, masonry, seismic analysis, or structural dynamics.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or a clear path to obtain it within six months.
- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in teams.
- Previous structural engineering internship experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with structural analysis/design software (e.g., RAM, ETABS, SAP2000) and Revit.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based work at a desk/computer.

- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided when required on project sites.
