Opportunity Overview

Confidential Client is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Manhattan on October 15–16, 2026. This event includes a networking mixer and on-site interviews for early-career roles expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027.

This posting is for an Entry-Level Structural Engineer (Bridge Design) based in Manhattan, NY. The role is suited for recent graduates or early-career engineers with coursework or internships in structural/bridge engineering who are eager to grow on design teams working on transportation and infrastructure projects.


What You’ll Do

As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer (Bridge Design) you will:

  • Provide technical input to studies and design work within your area of expertise
  • Help develop study and design procedures to support cost-effective, high-quality deliverables
  • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables
  • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort
  • Support completion of discipline components of PS&E packages
  • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
  • Prepare technical specification sections
  • Contribute to engineering budget and schedule development

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license

Preferred qualifications:

  • Structural / bridge engineering coursework
  • Internship, co-op, or relevant entry-level experience
  • EIT/FE certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start date
  • Experience or education in reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Passion for design and eagerness to learn on multidisciplinary projects

  • Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
  • Confidential Client intends to fill this vacancy no sooner than June 1, 2027
  • All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at a Confidential Client office location as a condition of employment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 80,000 – USD 87,000 per year (reported by source)
  • Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and professional development (details depend on employment status)
