What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join their engineering team. You’ll work closely with senior structural engineers to learn practical design, analysis, and construction-administration skills while contributing to real building and infrastructure projects.
- Assist with structural analysis and design for steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, and wood systems.
- Calculate gravity and lateral design loads (dead, live, snow, wind, seismic) per ASCE 7 and applicable codes.
- Produce structural calculations, analysis, and foundation design documentation.
- Help prepare structural drawings, details, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, civil, and other project disciplines.
- Attend design and coordination meetings and contribute technical input.
- Support construction-administration tasks: shop drawing review, site observations, and field investigations.
- Learn from mentors and develop technical skills through hands-on project experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis (or equivalent).
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- 0–5 years of structural engineering experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software (Bentley RAM or similar) and 3D modeling tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on multi-discipline projects.
- Willingness to learn, accept mentorship, and participate in professional development.

Location & Work Arrangement
Primary location: Loehmanns Plaza, NY. This role may also be supported out of regional offices (example: Rochester, Williamsville, Albany, or Middletown) depending on business needs. Hybrid work options are available per company policy.

Compensation
Salary range: $60,000 – $90,000 per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and regional factors.
