What You’ll Do
As an Entry Level Structural Engineer on the Building Structures team, you will gain hands-on experience and coaching while contributing to real project delivery. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop skills as a project engineer by assisting with design, detailing, and project delivery under senior staff mentorship
- Perform structural design calculations and prepare project document submittal packages
- Produce and review drawings and details in coordination with BIM/Revit staff
- Lead and support structural construction-phase activities and site visits as needed
- Participate in client, contractor, and multidisciplinary design team meetings and presentations
- Mentor and support entry-level engineers on technical and professional development
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications and skills required for success in this role:
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certificate
- 1+ years of structural engineering experience on new and/or existing buildings (concrete, steel, masonry, wood)
- Working knowledge of Revit and ability to produce drawings/details as needed
- Experience with structural analysis/design software such as RISA, RAM Structural System, E‑TABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ENERCALC, or similar
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet client deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills; growth mindset and coachable approach
- Basic understanding of building systems, materials, and assemblies
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $84,000–$87,000 per year
