About the Role
Confidential Client seeks an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join their Houston, TX Structures team. This is a full-time, entry-level position focused on design, investigation, and repair of buildings and infrastructure (including waterfront facilities). The role is best suited for recent 2026 graduates with a Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, technically rigorous environment.
What You’ll Do
You will work under senior engineers to support project delivery across new design, evaluation, and repair projects. Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist with structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems
- Support forensic investigations and document existing conditions on-site
- Help develop repair and rehabilitation solutions for buildings and waterfront structures
- Prepare calculations, technical drawings, and specifications
- Participate in construction administration and coordinate with project teams
- Communicate technical findings clearly to team members and clients
Qualifications
Required / Preferred qualifications and capabilities:
- MS in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus
- FE / EIT certification preferred
- Familiarity with structural analysis software preferred (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM, SAFE, etc.)
- Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
- Availability to travel abroad for short periods
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, accountability, and a teachable mindset

Compensation
This compensation range is a good-faith estimate pursuant to applicable pay transparency laws. Actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
- Bachelor’s Degree: $79,560 - $81,640
- Master’s Degree: $83,200 - $85,280
This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Base salary is part of a total compensation package that may include overtime pay, an annual discretionary bonus, and the benefits noted above.
