What You’ll Do
The confidential client is seeking an entry-level structural engineer to join their engineering team. You will work under senior staff to support the analysis, design, documentation, and construction administration of building structures across a variety of project types.
- Assist with structural analysis and design of components and systems using steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, and wood
- Develop gravity and lateral design loads (dead, live, snow, wind, seismic) per ASCE 7 and applicable building codes
- Produce structural calculations and analyses for building systems and foundations
- Prepare structural drawings, details, and specifications
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, civil, and other project disciplines
- Participate in design and coordination meetings with project teams
- Support construction administration tasks including shop drawing review, site observations, and field investigations
- Learn and grow under mentorship from senior structural engineering staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- 0–5 years of structural engineering experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Working knowledge of structural engineering software (Bentley RAM products); familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- Eligible to work in the United States

- Salary range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
