Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join a collaborative structural engineering team in Brentwood, TN. This early-career role focuses on structural design, analysis, and BIM/model review across steel and concrete projects. Compensation
- Estimated base pay: $86,062 per year (estimated).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and review structural components and systems for commercial and/or residential projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to develop practical, code-compliant solutions.
- Prepare and review calculation packages, submittals, RFIs, and steel shop drawings.
- Review 3-D BIM models and assist with connection design and shop drawing coordination.
- Use analysis and drafting software to support design work and improve efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- EIT certification (Engineer-in-Training) required or in progress.
- Solid understanding of building codes, construction materials, and structural standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, logical problem-solving, and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Passion for steel and concrete design and eagerness to grow technical expertise.
Requirements
- Diploma/certificate consistent with degree requirement.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
