Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Structural Engineer in Anaheim Hills, CA. You will collaborate on design and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, support project documentation, and participate in site evaluations to help ensure safety and code compliance.

  • Location: Anaheim Hills, CA (onsite)
  • Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 per year (DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and clear specifications
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve technical issues
  • Perform site inspections and assessments; recommend repairs or modifications
  • Ensure designs meet current building codes, standards, and seismic requirements
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and client communications as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering (design and analysis)
  • Proficiency with structural design and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS)
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and structural analysis methods
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team

Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and timber design
  • Familiarity with California building codes and seismic design provisions
  • Experience performing site evaluations and preparing repair scopes
  • Knowledge of project delivery processes and construction administration
