Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Staff Engineer (accepting 2027 new grads) to join a civil engineering consulting team in King of Prussia, PA. This is an excellent early-career opportunity to develop design skills, gain exposure to AutoCAD / Civil 3D / GIS workflows, and progress toward licensure under mentorship in a hybrid work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide support engineering services across project teams in site/civil and transportation engineering assignments.
• Prepare neat, accurate design calculations and documentation under direction of senior engineers.
• Produce and review drawings in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; assist with GIS data tasks.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver permit-ready plans and technical reports.
• Manage multiple priorities, track tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare written and verbal communications as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field (required).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship experience is accepted in lieu of professional experience.
• Experience or exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS is essential.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred; motivated to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Detail-oriented with strong command of design principles and the ability to produce accurate calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary range: $74,000–$80,000 per year (Confidential Client estimates; actual offer may vary based on experience, location, and qualifications).
