confidential client is seeking an Entry-Level Staff Engineer to join their engineering consulting team in Columbus, OH. This is an early-career opportunity (May 2027 grads encouraged to apply) to gain hands-on experience supporting multidisciplinary projects, work with senior engineers, and develop toward Professional Engineer licensure.

What You’ll Do

confidential client’s Entry-Level Staff Engineer will:

• Provide support engineering services across project teams within an engineering consulting firm environment.
• Assist with design tasks and develop accurate, well-documented design calculations.
• Work with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D for drafting, modeling, and plan production.
• Coordinate with peers and senior engineers to execute project deliverables on schedule.
• Help organize and prioritize tasks across multiple assignments to meet project milestones.
• Communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal form with internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred; relevant internship experience will be considered.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; candidate should be motivated to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Exposure to and some hands-on experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid command of engineering design principles.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with peers and senior management.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits

confidential client is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws. Estimated salary range for this position: $74,000–$80,000 per year. Final offer will depend on experience, education, specific skills, internal equity, and geographic location.
