What You’ll Do
This entry-level Staff Accountant role is a hands-on position designed for a recent accounting or finance graduate who wants to develop practical accounting skills in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. You will work with experienced accountants and receive structured training and mentorship while contributing to day-to-day accounting operations.
- Assist with month-end close tasks, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including invoice processing and payment posting
- Prepare and maintain general ledger documentation and supporting schedules
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with cash management activities
- Help prepare reports for management and support audit requests when needed
- Use Excel to analyze data, build schedules, and streamline routine tasks
- Participate in process-improvement projects and follow established internal controls
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience or coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or related functions
- Experience with accounting systems or ERPs (any platform familiarity is helpful)
- Prior exposure to high-volume transactional environments (retail, automotive, or similar)
- CPA track interest or plan to pursue accounting certification is a plus

Location & Schedule
