Role Overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking Entry Level Software Engineer candidates to join an IT-focused software engineering team based in Hudson, NH. This is an entry-level opportunity offering hands-on experience across the full software lifecycle, mentorship, technical rotations, and tuition reimbursement to support advanced degrees.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in software development activities including coding, debugging, and integrating software components.
- Support system-level integration, regression testing, and requirements testing for complex software/hardware systems.
- Learn across multiple disciplines through structured rotations and project assignments.
- Work closely with experienced engineers and managers to receive mentorship and technical guidance.
- Attend training, workshops, and collaborative sessions to develop engineering skills and professional networks.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineer I) or Master’s degree (Engineer II) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field with suitable software engineering content.
- Proficiency in multiple high-level programming languages (examples: C, C++, Java, Python).
- Working knowledge of software design and coding using Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) techniques.
- Must be eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows and/or UNIX/Linux.
- Familiarity with software version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
- Existing security clearance (Secret or higher) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time salary range: $64,926 - $110,374 per year.

Location & Work Authorization
