What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to assist with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of production software. This is an onsite role in Englewood, CO (expected onsite 4 days per week).

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software using C++, Java, or Go.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Implement and execute testing protocols to identify and fix defects, and to ensure reliability.
• Debug applications to improve performance and user experience.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write and maintain technical documentation supporting designs and requirements.
• Work with Quality Assurance to verify applications meet technical specifications and user needs.
• Track industry trends and propose improvements or new approaches to software functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned; may require nights, weekends, or variable schedules as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent coursework or demonstrated experience considered.
• Proficiency in one or more of: C++, Java, Go.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Comfortable participating in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the posted schedule including occasional nights/weekends if required.

Nice to Have

• Internship or academic project experience in video, ad tech, or distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, or containerization.
• Familiarity with agile development tools and practices.

Location & Schedule

• Job location: Englewood, CO (onsite, typically 4 days per week).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute to the Englewood worksite as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Colorado Pay Range: $82,581.08 - $123,871.61. Confidential Client intends to offer base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
• Base pay is one part of a broader Total Rewards package which may include bonus eligibility and benefits. Exact benefits vary by role and eligibility.
