What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level software engineers to join a small, collaborative team working on sensor-data processing, video and image analytics, and geospatial data products. You will contribute to end-to-end software development across desktop, web, embedded, and cloud platforms.

• Develop, test, and maintain software for video analytics, image processing, and temporal data pipelines
• Implement and debug features using Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
• Apply object-oriented design principles and best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
• Integrate algorithms and data processing components with RESTful services and data stores
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and follow version-control and CI/CD workflows
• Work with mentors during onboarding and pair-program with teammates to learn product-specific technologies
• Help tune performance for large-scale data processing and visualization tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of one or more: Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, debugging, and testing skills
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments
• U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Candidates selected for some positions will be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or hands-on experience in one or more: Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Architecture, Data Science, Database Systems, Operating Systems, Networking, UI/UX Design
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with requirements analysis, software integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and automated testing
• Interest in geospatial data, video analytics, or large-scale data processing

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-Time Salary Range: $52,395 - $89,107 (annual)
• Salary is based on market structures and candidate qualifications (education, experience, skills, and local market)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid: a mix of onsite and remote work. You will split time between working onsite and independently from remote locations per team and program needs.
