Role Overview
This is an Entry-Level Software Developer role focused on web development for a Confidential Client in the IT sector. You will join an agile engineering team building scalable, customer-facing applications primarily using C#/.NET, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server on Azure, with front-end work in React + TypeScript. The position contributes across the full software lifecycle from design and development to testing and deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Participate on an agile team and take part in all scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Design, write, and review code that follows coding standards and best practices.
- Translate design mockups, prototypes, and user stories into working application features.
- Help create engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, and estimations for stories.
- Write unit and integration tests; contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor work against schedules, surface blockers early, and communicate progress to leads.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and code quality.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and make trade-off recommendations for scalability and maintainability.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- ~5 years total experience designing and building scalable, highly available systems (per the client’s requirement).
- Strong experience with modern programming languages and web services (REST/JSON).
- Experience producing maintainable, fault-tolerant code and translating UX/UI designs into working software.
Preferred
- ~5 years C# / .NET experience (SQL Server, Entity Framework Core).
- ~3+ years React with TypeScript.
- Experience with Azure App Service / Azure SQL Database.
- Familiarity with Terraform, xUnit, and Playwright is a plus.
- Prior experience in healthcare technology is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $102,700 — $164,600 (base). Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market factors.
- The Confidential Client offers benefits consistent with market practice; specific benefits and eligibility will be discussed during the hiring process.
