Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Coordinator to support equipment and product procurement and supply chain services for assigned projects. This role combines hands-on procurement tasks, vendor coordination, data entry, and occasional site or factory visits. This position is listed as remote-eligible (telecommute) and is based in Newburgh Heights, OH.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with reviews of equipment and procurement packages to confirm compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Track and document product issues raised by clients, owner’s reps, designers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors; escalate when appropriate.
- Help prepare scope of work documents, coordination matrices, and bid response forms for vendor packages.
- Support reviews of submittals and shop drawings and identify misalignments with contract specifications.
- Visit project sites to observe product quality and placement (as needed).
- Attend manufacturer factory witness tests and learn about product development and specifications (as needed).
- Support supply chain activities such as heat mapping, vendor database updates, resiliency systems, and equipment tracking.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain master procurement records (pricing, contracts, delivery schedules).
- Follow standardized processes for project documentation (equipment tracking logs, budget and cost reports, RFIs, change orders, closeout logs).
- Help review change orders, prepare analyses and estimates, and coordinate approvals through the Supply Chain Manager.
- Assist with vendor prequalification and project closeout tasks (warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, spare parts, inventory).
- Other duties as assigned to support development of supply chain products and services.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field) OR a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: supply chain internship or co-op experience in the construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain operations and construction products (architectural, mechanical, electrical) is desired.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to document and manage accurate, timely information.
- Able to work efficiently, ask clarifying questions, and prioritize tasks.
- Eager to learn, proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and on a team.
- Professional verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
- Limited travel may be required.

- Estimated compensation (as displayed in source): $53,919 per year (estimated).

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Primarily office or remote work with occasional on-site presence at construction sites and manufacturer facilities.
- May require sitting, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, walking in construction zones, and lifting/moving items up to 25 lbs (regularly up to 10 lbs).
- Must follow safety policies and procedures and may be exposed to varying noise levels, airborne particles, and weather conditions during site work.
