Overview

Confidential Client is a CLIA‑certified clinical laboratory specializing in automated DNA‑based molecular diagnostics (PCR and related testing) for infectious disease and other clinical areas. They are expanding their U.S. sales team and seek a high‑energy, entry‑level sales professional to build and manage a territory focused on hospital and physician clients.


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and grow a client base of hospital and physician customers within an assigned territory.
  • Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for your territory.
  • Prospect and obtain new business; present new test information and identify new revenue sources.
  • Develop and deliver personalized sales presentations to clinicians, lab staff, clinics, and group practices.
  • Build and manage a full sales pipeline; perform territory management and account planning.
  • Schedule and conduct regular calls and in‑person visits to establish long‑term client relationships.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline activity and account plans.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to execute territory strategy and monitor competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales experience preferred but not required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required — comparable education + experience considered.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently within the coverage area (and occasionally nationwide).
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, email and web research tools.
  • Sound judgment, decision‑making ability, and professional communication skills.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and drive a motor vehicle for field visits.
  • Requires frequent travel by motor vehicle within assigned territory.
  • May encounter varying workplace environments when meeting customers.

Location & Work Arrangement
