Entry Level RF Engineer
The Entry Level RF Engineer at Confidential Client contributes to the design, development, and testing of RF and Communications systems, applying strong foundational knowledge and problem-solving skills. This role involves system analysis, modeling, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for national challenges in a highly collaborative R&D environment.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of radio frequency (RF) and communications systems.
- Analyze and model RF systems to solve challenging technical problems.
- Use standard laboratory instrumentation for validation, verification, and troubleshooting.
- Produce technical content for reports and presentations with appropriate guidance.
- Identify technical challenges in assigned work and communicate them to project leadership.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software, and materials engineers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in Radio Frequency or Communications Engineering or a related discipline.
- Entry-level knowledge and usage of commercially available RF and communications software tools.
- Solid understanding of RF systems and architectures and fundamentals of electrical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to work in highly collaborative team environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (required for selected applicants).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with one or more:
- RF system-on-chip (RFSoC) platforms
- FPGA development and digital signal processing implementation
- Beamforming ICs and phased-array systems
- Software-defined radio (SDR) platforms and wireless communication systems
- Exposure to advanced RF and communications systems through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (U.S.): $62,500 – $140,000 per year.
- Range reflects company-wide targets across U.S. locations; final pay is based on location, experience, and skills.
