What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Registered Nurse (new graduate) in Turners, MO. As an Entry-Level Registered Nurse you will develop clinical skills while delivering safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based direct patient care under supervision of experienced clinicians
- Perform comprehensive and focused patient assessments (vitals, physical findings, patient-reported symptoms)
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with orders and policies
- Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures and therapies while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists and other team members on individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions and self-care
- Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition; participate in rapid response or emergency interventions as needed
- Practice infection prevention and control and support safe patient mobility and transfers
- Participate in the new graduate orientation/residency program and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For
Candidates who meet these qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Active RN license in the state of practice or eligibility prior to start date
- Completion of an accredited nursing program within the last 12–18 months
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN considered with a plan to complete BSN
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS, PALS or NRP as applicable to unit (ACLS may be required within first year for some units)
- Willingness to participate in a nurse residency or transition-to-practice program
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to compassionate, respectful, culturally sensitive patient care
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $79,000 – $93,000 per year
