What You’ll Do

As an Entry-Level / New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) you will deliver direct patient care across the continuum under supervision and mentorship. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; safely administer medications and treatments; document care in the electronic health record (EHR); and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.

• Use the nursing process to perform patient assessments, develop and update care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and make clinical judgments to adjust care plans as needed.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR for all patient care activities.
• Promote infection prevention, a culture of safety, and ethical nursing practice.
• Educate patients and families across the care continuum about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Delegate appropriately to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel based on scope and patient needs.
• Participate in unit councils, professional governance, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
• Float to other units or care areas within the service area when needed to meet patient demand.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a motivated new graduate or entry-level RN who demonstrates clinical judgment, strong communication, and a commitment to evidence-based, safe care.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact or state-specific (must meet North Carolina licensing requirements).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred (per client requirement).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in acute care settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams.
