Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a driven Entry-Level Recruiter | Sales Trainee to join their talent acquisition team in Woodland Hills, CA. This is an early-career role owning full-cycle recruiting activities for engineering, sciences, and corporate/professional roles. You’ll build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, manage candidate screening and onboarding, and grow into a revenue-generating recruiter with significant commission upside.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned roles and industries.
• Meet with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and hiring priorities.
• Source candidates using multiple channels and recruiting tools.
• Screen and interview candidates; conduct reference checks.
• Coach candidates for interviews and prepare them for assignment start.
• Manage candidate communications from offer through onboarding and follow-up.
• Build and maintain a network of consultants and professionals aligned to industry skill sets.
• Track candidate activity and maintain accurate records in ATS/CRM tools.
• Foster long-term relationships with candidates to support repeat placements and referrals.

Compensation & Benefits

• Posted base salary range: USD $70,304 per year (employer-provided range).
• Additional pay structure noted in the original posting:
  • Paid, non-exempt 13-week training period.
  • Initial base salary after paid training: $45,000, increasing to $55,000 after one year (as specified by the client).
  • Unlimited commission potential and quarterly bonuses; top performers historically earned significantly above base.
• Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off (20 days accrued per year), tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and other perks.
