What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Recruiter / Sales Trainee to identify and place talent for client hiring needs. This is a hands-on role where you will learn full-cycle recruiting and develop into a quota-bearing sales/recruiting professional through structured training and on-the-job coaching.

• Identify, source, and engage qualified candidates via phone, email, social, and job boards
• Conduct candidate screenings, phone interviews, and skills assessments
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future client needs
• Partner with account managers to understand open roles, target skills, and hiring timelines
• Manage candidate experience through offer, onboarding, and follow-up
• Track activity and results using ATS and internal systems
• Participate in local recruiting events, community outreach, and networking to grow candidate and client pipelines

Compensation & Rewards

Compensation is transparent and performance-driven.

• 13-week salaried, non-exempt training period at $40,000 annualized
• After training: base pay of $45,000 per year plus uncapped weekly commission
• After 1 year of tenure: base pay increases to $55,000 per year (continues to be commission-eligible)
• Projected earnings (illustrative based on performance):
  • Year 1: ~$50,000
  • Year 2: ~$76,000
  • Year 3: ~$102,000
• Performance incentives: quarterly bonuses, recognition programs, and top-performer rewards (e.g., company-paid trips)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Customer-facing, sales, or team-based experience preferred
• Strong interest in recruiting, sales, or talent acquisition
• Ability to work in South Erie, PA and attend occasional local events
