Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Recruiter / Sales Trainee in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a career-launching role with structured training, base pay plus weekly commission, and a clear promotion path into recruiting and sales leadership. What You’ll Do

• Identify and engage qualified candidates using phone, email, LinkedIn, job boards, and internal sourcing tools
• Screen and interview applicants to assess skills, availability, and fit
• Partner with Account Managers to target accounts, define skill needs, and prioritize hiring goals
• Build relationships with candidates and industry contacts to generate referrals and pipeline leads
• Perform customer-service functions related to candidate and client experience
• Participate in community outreach and volunteer initiatives as part of the team culture

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $45,000 during training, with a scheduled base increase to $55,000 after one year
• Unlimited commission potential (weekly payouts available after training)
• Projected earnings (examples):
  • Recruiter: Year 1 ~$50,000; Year 2 ~$76,000; Year 3 ~$102,000
  • Sales Manager (promoted path): Year 1 ~$80,800; Year 2 ~$121,500; Year 3 ~$150,000

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Customer- or sales-focused experience (retail, hospitality, call center, B2B sales, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication and phone skills; comfortable with outbound outreach
• Team-oriented, driven, and coachable — willing to learn processes and iterate quickly
• Ability to work in Grand Rapids, MI (on-site or as specified by the client)
