What You’ll Do
This remote, entry-level QC Reviewer role supports a bioanalytical laboratory in Richmond, VA. You will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of laboratory data and documentation while learning lab best practices and testing standards.
- Perform laboratory tasks according to client protocols, methods, and SOPs
- Prepare study documentation: study protocols, project status updates, and final study reports
- Design experiments and participate in technical troubleshooting and investigations
- Review, interpret, and analyze data for technical quality and protocol/SOP compliance
- Review laboratory investigations and deviations; assist in root-cause documentation
- Coordinate laboratory resources, schedule tasks, and update project status
- Respond to client questions and coordinate client communications, including recording meeting minutes
- Assist group leaders with project activities and SOP implementation
Qualifications
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field OR combination of education, training, and related experience
- 0–1 years of relevant laboratory or QC experience; internships or vocational training considered
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation, routine operation and maintenance
- Working knowledge of SOPs, regulatory guidelines and ICH principles
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time and project management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Problem solving and troubleshooting aptitude
- Ability to cross-train on sample-preparation techniques and work collaboratively with lab teams
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- This is a fully remote position supporting a Richmond, VA bioanalytical lab; occasional travel or drives to site locations may be required
- Work may involve exposure to biological fluids and rare exposure to hazardous materials; PPE (gloves, protective eyewear, garments) required when on site
- Typical shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Ability to sit/stand for 6–8 hours, perform repetitive hand movements, and lift up to 15–20 lbs occasionally
- Able to perform varied tasks under changing conditions, maintain concentration and multi-task under pressure
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to pass a background check and drug screening
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range (Virginia estimate): $21.00–$21.63 per hour
- May be eligible for variable annual bonus consistent with company policy

Location & Work Arrangement
- Primary support location: Richmond, VA
- Work arrangement: Fully remote (telecommute) supporting the Confidential Client’s bioanalytical laboratory in Richmond; applicants from across the U.S. may be considered
- Onboarding/periodic site visits may be required depending on project needs
