This Entry‑Level Python / SQL Developer role with a Confidential Client is a hands-on opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, or early‑career developers who want to build strong Python and SQL skills working on real projects. What You’ll Do

• Write, test, and maintain Python code to support application features, data processing, and automation.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database objects for reporting and application needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product owners to translate requirements into working code.
• Troubleshoot data issues and assist with basic database performance tuning.
• Document work, follow version control practices, and participate in code reviews.
• Learn and apply best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with Python (coursework, projects, internships, or prior work).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., writing joins, aggregations, basic indexing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn on the job.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work legally in the U.S. (must be authorized to work in the U.S.).
• Comfortable working onsite in Southaven, MS or in a commuting distance as required by the Confidential Client.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field — OR equivalent practical experience. (Degree preferred but not required.)
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts, data visualization tools, or basic machine learning ideas.
• Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
• Exposure to REST APIs, scripting for automation, and working on Linux environments.
• Any internship or project experience building small applications or data pipelines.
