What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Python Engineer to join an IT team supporting the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time, remote-eligible role (telecommute) with occasional onsite requirements in Savage, MD. Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI-FS) to be considered.
- Develop high-performance applications that run on commercially available hardware.
- Use Python to integrate with vendor-provided APIs.
- Build and run containerized development and deployment environments using Docker.
- Write complex automated tests in Python to validate functionality and reliability.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable releases.
- Work with networking equipment concepts (switches, routers) as part of integration and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI-FS) — required.
- Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Entry-level: 0+ years of professional experience; strong Python skills required.
- Familiarity with Docker and container workflows.
- Experience writing automated tests and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of networking equipment (switches, routers) is desired.
- Knowledge of C programming is beneficial but not required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.; remote work is permitted with occasional onsite visits in Savage, MD.
