What You'll Do

This is an entry-level Full‑Time software engineering role supporting mission software in a secure environment in Savage, MD. You will design, implement, test, and maintain software primarily using Python, C, and C++ on Linux-based systems. Work includes version control, collaboration with Agile teams, and support for geospatial processing and 2D/3D image display.

• Design, implement, and maintain software applications on Linux using Python, C, and C++
• Use Git/GitLab for version control and code collaboration
• Participate in Agile development workflows using Jira and Confluence
• Support geospatial processing and 2D/3D image display features
• Contribute to continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver mission capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full‑Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI‑FS Poly) — candidates without an active clearance will not be considered
• Technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 0+ years professional experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Familiarity with Python and experience or coursework using C or C++ on Linux systems
• Experience using Git and collaboration tools (GitLab, Jira, Confluence) or strong eagerness to learn them quickly
• Eligible to work on U.S. government contracts and pass required background checks

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior coursework or personal projects involving geospatial processing or image display (2D/3D)
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated testing frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile team environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Total compensation: $207,000 per year (total compensation as listed)
• Employment type: Full‑time
• Location: Savage, MD (on‑site / client mission work)
