What You’ll Do
This entry-level Project Manager/Engineer will support project delivery under the direction of a senior Project Manager on industrial and manufacturing projects. You will help move projects through planning, procurement, execution, and closeout by coordinating teams, tracking changes, and maintaining project documentation.
- Read and review CAD drawings for fit, completeness, and constructability.
- Advance project schedules and tasks within MS Project and/or the client ERP system.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and client meetings — prepare agendas, track attendees, secure rooms, take and distribute notes.
- Support procurement tasks: create requisitions, manage supplier invoices, track procurement/ESM, and assist with change order preparation.
- Maintain change logs and file supporting documentation (emails, meeting notes, RFI logs).
- Prepare and maintain standard and custom project reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving financial, scheduling, and regulatory issues as they arise.
- Communicate project data and status updates to the Project Manager and project teams.
Who You Are / Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline.
- 2+ years’ experience using MS Project and/or an ERP system.
- 2+ years’ industrial or manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years’ experience working with CAD systems.
- 2+ years’ project support experience (cost controls, purchasing, supply chain support).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information across multiple projects.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- 5+ years’ experience using MS Project (preferred).
- 2+ years’ experience in cost management and change management.
- Experience developing or maintaining project reports and dashboards.
- Comfortable working across office, manufacturing, and construction site environments.
Work Arrangement & Location
- Employment type: Full-time, Contract to Hire.
- Workplace: Fully onsite in De Pere, WI.
- Travel: Up to ~15% (local/regional) as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour. Actual pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
